Cardi B will always remember the day she secretly married fellow rapper Offset.
On Thursday, the rapping diva celebrated her wedding anniversary by sharing a photo of their quick ceremony one year ago.
“#TBT… September 20th,” she captioned the snap of her wearing white and Offset wearing a dark jacket as they held hands before an officiant.
The following month, Offset, 26, publicly proposed onstage in Philadelphia with a massive eight-carat ring, despite already being married.
The couple continued to keep their marriage a secret until Offset, of the rap group Migos, started calling Cardi B his wife, reports TMZ.
However, in June, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper, 25, finally confirmed that they were indeed married.
“There are so many moments that I share with the world and then there are moments that I want to keep for myself,” she tweeted after TMZ released her Georgia marriage license. “Getting married was one of those moments! Our relationship was so new breaking up and making up and we had a lot of growing up to do but we was so in love we didn’t want to lose each other.”
Of the quick ceremony, Cardi B said it happened randomly and that she had “no dress, no makeup and no ring.”
Cardi B and Offset’s daughter, Kulture, was born in July.
