Life Lessons From The Story Of Damilola Adegbite
In the words of Walt Disney “if you can dream it, you can do it.” Damilola started with just aspirations and high hopes. She said “I want to live a fulfilled life, and to be happy in whatever decision I take in life.”
Gradually, she started in her school drama group, until she found herself on the big screen. Also, after her recent endorsement deal with Glo, she said, she had always been a fan of the brand over the years, and now, her dreams have become a reality
In lieu of the above, there is no crime in aspiring and dreaming of a great life. Those who dare to dream and work hard are those who are living their dreams.
Don’t dwell in Your Past
After Damilola’s divorce, she did not stay down too long. She came out better and stronger. In January 2018, she tried to explain the ordeal she went through after the whole situation. She said “My trust was betrayed in heart breaking ways and I had to go through some very painful overwhelming changes.” Despite everything, she gave herself the opportunity to heal and find peace.
She believes that if things aren’t going the way you planned, that you shoud take few steps back and look at it from a different angle. And if things become too tough for you to handle, leave it and let the law of karma take its revenge.
